Bantamweight Helen “Iron Lady” Joseph (17-3-2, 10 KOs), of Nigeria, connected on just about every punch en route to blistering victory over Hungarian Martina Horgasz (5-3, 4 KOs) on DiBella Entertainment’s Brooklyn Boxing at Foxwoods Casino and Resort in Connecticut.

Joseph connected with everything but the kitchen sink over the first three rounds. Left hooks were overpowering to the face and body.

Feeling the iron fists, Hogasz’ best option was to stay clear of the power and ran for the final three rounds, engaging in minimal exchanges to keep the fight going.

Official Scores: 60-53, 60-53, 60-53

Team Empire Management is ready to get “The Iron Lady” Joseph a title shot.
