Jennifer HanSaturday evening, in her hometown of El Paso, TX, Jennifer Han (13-3-1, 1 KO) displayed pure technical skill en route to claiming the vacant IBF Featherweight Championship.

Han dominated the 10 rounds of championship boxing over Helen Joseph (12-3-1, 7 KOs), eluding the knockout attempts of her opponent with her jabs and strategic heavy rights.

Joseph’s forward movement from the opening bell – looking for the early knockout blow was neutralized by Han’s fitness and strategy. Han’s left jab stung most of Joseph’s offense, allowing the champ to control the pace for much of the 10 rounds.

Han easily cruised to the IBF title by way of Unanimous Decision on the Fight Inc. Promotions card. Scores: 97-92, 98-92, 98-91
