Mariana Juarez Acquires WBC International Championship in Close Decision over Irma Garcia

In a close and competitive match, seasoned fighter Mariana “Barby” Juárez won via split decision against Irma Garcia to be proclaimed new International Bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Council.

In the card “Beauty & Power” fight at the Oasis Arena in Cancun, “Barbie” won with scores of 96-93, 95-95, 95-94 and 94-95.

The fight was very fierce all action give and take, throughout the ten episodes, with Mariana surging forward, while rival southpaw Irma, was smartly countering.
