In the scarce remaining days before defending her crown, female World Boxing Council bantamweight champion Mariana “La Barby” Juarez, performs an intense preparation, leading on to her defense on August 11 in Mexico City against Japanese power puncher Terumi Nuki

“Barby” is leaving no stone unturned because victory could well mean she`s fighting Jackie Nava next. Jackie is on the same card.

“We have to make an almost perfect fight. Although my opponent does not have many professional fights, she has a long amateur career, and few boxers have that kind of punch. She has knocked down almost all her rivals. We already beat her once but can`t be over confident.”
