Friday night appeared to be Battle of Artgentina at Club 12 de Octubre, Isidro Casanova Buenos Aires, Argentina. For one competitor, the bout did not go totally as planned.

Former WBO Bantamweight Champion Sabrina Perez (16-1-1, 2 KOs) was squaring off with fellow countrywoman Marianela Ramirez (4-2, 1 KOs) in a scheduled 6 Round stay busy matchup.

Ramirez came out with determination and handled out major body work and hammered away upstairs, dropping the former champ only a minute into the opening stanza. Regaining her footing, Perez took more beating from Ramirez before the referee halted the bout before the opening round ended.

Ramirez earned her first KO victory with this emphatic win.
