IBF Super Welterweight Champion Marie-Eve Dicaire (15-0) will make her 2nd Defense of her championship against Sweden’s Maria Lindberg (17-4-2, 9 KOs) on Friday, June 28 in Dicaire’s native land Quebec, Canada.
Groupe Yvon Michel – GYM Promotions is putting Dicaire in the feature spot again as she keeps progressing through the competition.
Dicaire claimed the IBF belt in December by point decision over then champion Chris Namus of Uruguay.
The southpaw champion followed that up with a very strong decision effort over Mikaela Lauren of Sweden in April.
This time, Dicaire faces another strong veteran. Lindberg has gone up against then champion Christina Hammer twice, champion Ewa Piatkowska, Inna Sagaydakovskaya over her nearly 16 year career.
