Due to the pregnancy of World Boxing Council flyweight champion, Yessica ‘Kika’ Chávez, a pause for her, so a match up between ex double world champion Ibeth ‘Roca’ Zamora and former world champion Melissa McMorrow, could be on the cards?

Osvaldo Küchle of Promociones del Pueblo says he’s asked the WBC for this fight. Zamora became challenger for the flyweight title in 2017 by defeating Sinaloa’s Isabel Millán.

If it’s approved and Zamora wins, she’s still smack bang on course to contest a third world crown after being champ at minimumweight and light flyweight.
