Like many young boxers over the last couple years, USA Boxing’s four-time National Champion “The Heat” Samantha Kinchen is leaving Olympic dreams in the rear-view mirror for the paid ranks.

Kinchen, of Lexington, KY, will make her professional debut on Saturday, November 2nd a mere 75 miles west at the Bourbon Hall in Louisville, KY on Eskridge Enterprises Inc. show.

The 5′ 7″ Super Welterweight Kinchen won the 2012 Junior National and National PAL Championships before the 2013 Youth National Championship as well as the National Golden Gloves. At the 2013 AIBA Women’s Youth World Championships in Albena, Bulgaria, Kinchen advanced to the semifinals and took defeat to the eventual Gold Medalist Gauhar Yermekbay of Kazakhstan.

Fast forward to 2019 where Kinchen will stretch her capabilities past three rounds and bang with the big girls, starting on November 2nd with El Paso, TX’s Karina Mendoza.
