WBC Minimumweight champion Tina Rupprecht (8-0, 3 KOs) makes her first title defense on Saturday at Augsburg Sports Park in Kühbach, Germany opposite Venezuelan Niorkis Carreno (9-0, 7 KOs).
While this matchup looks good on paper, the champ should prevail in her championship defense.
Carreno’s 9 opponents combined had four (4) wins so it is debatable whether she has been challenged before she steps inside the ropes with Rupprecht.
