Local favorite Terri Harper (9-0, 5 KOs) debuted under Matchroom Boxing with a spectacular performance at Manchester Arena against Brazilian toughwoman Viviane Obenauf (14-6, 7 KOs).

“Belter” Harper outworked and controlled the 10 Rounds of action in a clear dominant fashion over an never-stopping opponent.

Obenauf took Katie Taylor the distance back in 2016. Last year, she dealt a shocker stoppage of prospect Natasha Jonas.

But Harper was calm and collective in gathering the point counting shots to retain her title.

Official Scores: 99-91, 99-92, 97-93

After the bout, Eddie Hearn congratulated his newest female boxer with a birthday present of citing agreement of matching Harper with WBC Super Featherweight Champion in February.
