The World Boxing Council bantamweight champion, Mariana “Barby” Juarez, is distinguished by the prestigious Forbes magazine as one of the members of its 2019 edition of The 100 most powerful women in Mexico.

“Barby” is the only boxer who appears in this select lineup. She`ll make the eighth defense of the Green and Gold belt on June 15 in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, versus Diana “La Bonita” Fernandez.

Already a boxing legend, “Barby” has a record of 52 victories, 9 defeats, 4 draws 18 knockouts. She has fought in the United States, China and South Korea.
