Braekhus and Sagaydakovskya breeze weigh in
World Boxing Council welterweight champion, Norwegian-Colombian Cecilia Braekhus (33-0, 9 KO’s) will be defending her crown against WBC interim super welterweight champion Inna Sagaydakovskya (7-0). -0, 3 KO’s), on Saturday at the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia.
Braekhus vs. Sagaydakovskya will be the co-main event of the night along with the “World Boxing Super Series” Great fianl, where the world cruiserweight champions Alexander Usyk and Murat Gassiev will clash.
Braekhus, who is coming from a tough win over Kali Reis last May in California. She weighed 146.2 pounds Friday at the official weigh-in, while Russian fighter Sagaydakovskaya tipped 146 pounds.
The challenger is undefeated in seven matches and very motivated to fight in her homeland against the undisputed champion.
