WBC Champion Esmeralda Moreno and Challenger Yesenia Gomez Nearly on Weight Already for Saturday Clash

In the final countdown to their clash, World Boxing Council female light flyweight champion Esmeralda Moreno and challenger Yesenia Gómez, were delighted to have alighted at the seven days pre-weigh in, leading to the Poliforum of Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo.

The card presented by Promociones del Pueblo in association with Cancun Boxing by Pepe Gómez and Boxing Time by Memo Rocha, will be broadcast throughout Mexico on the Televisa Deportes network.

With neither allowed to exceed the category limit of 108 pounds; by more than five percent at this stage, both were successful.

Esmeralda weighed 111.9 pounds, after closing her training camp, at Chimalhuacan, State of Mexico.

While Yesenia fulfilled the requirement in the Toro Valenzuela Gymnasium, of Cancun; registering 109.5 pounds.
