‘BARBY’ JUÁREZ AIMS FOR A BRIEF ENCOUNTER

World champion Mariana ‘Barby’ Juarez oh so briefly met Costa Rican Carolina ‘Princess’ Arias at the Puebla Fair 2018, at the official weigh IN.

It’s presented by Promociones del Pueblo, and Mariana will defend for the fourth time her bantamweight crown against the “Swift” contender from Costa Rica.

‘Barby’ ambitiously commented: “I have the dream of being a super bantamweight champion, so I can not make any mistakes here! I did a great job in the gym and this fight is dedicated to Puebla.”

Also audacious Carolina said: “I have always admired Mariana and all the Mexican boxers, yet…I am really ready for this fight, I have good boxing skills and I am going to prove it!”

Both fighters passed the weigh in. Mariana reported 117.9 lbs, while Carolina gave 116.6 lbs.
