Yesenia “Niña” Gómez title defense in Cancun during the WBC Convention

World Boxing Council female light flyweight champion, Yesenia “Niña” Gómez (16-5-3, 6 KO’s), will defend her belt against Venezuelan warrior Deborah “Pantera” Rengifo (13-6-1 , 7 KO’s) in the midst of the WBC Annual 57th Convention.

“The fact that they have considered me to be part of the boxing card in the WBC 57th Convention, is something that motivates me so much, because in addition to defending the title on home turf, I can also show my talent to the boxing specialists from all over the world” said the world champion, who`s done an intense preparation for her third belt defense on Saturday October 26 at the Plaza de Toros de Cancún.
