WBC title fight is guaranteed for “Lulu” Juarez: Mauricio Sulaiman

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman says that the fight for the WBC world female flyweight title for Lourdes “Pequena Lulu” Juarez is guaranteed, with the champion Ibeth “La Roca” Zamora.

Lourdes (29-2 and 4 KO’s), comes from defeating Celeste “La Muñeca” González last Saturday by UD, reaffirming herself. While Ibeth (30-6 and 12 KOs) has built a career based on facing the best, without rest.

“They are a boxing family and are very special for the World Boxing Council. Lulu won her opportunity and it is guaranteed,” said the WBC leader during the traditional Martes de Café conference in Mexico City.

With respect to the current champion “Roca” Zamora has a voluntary defense, which has to be this year, and then has a mandatory against Lourdes Juarez.”
