From WBC:

Crews-Dezurn ready to defend crown against “Tigre” Jiménez

US world champion Franchon Crews-Dezurn is ready to defend her WBC super middleweight crown for the second time, when she faces former heavyweight world champion Alejandra “Tigre” Jiménez, from Mexico.

This clash was going to be held in September 2019; however, Alejandra had problems with her visa, which prevented her from traveling to the United States.

Franchon is 32 years old. She has a record of 6 fights won and a single defeat, against Claressa Shields, in what was the first fight of both as professionals.

Alejandra, still undefeated, will arrive with the firm conviction of conquering her second division. After reigning in the heavyweight category she decided to make a radical and svelte turn in her career and life by losing more than 40 pounds to reach the 168-pound division.

Franchon Crews-Dezurn vs. Alejandra Jiménez will take place on Saturday, January 11 at the San Antonio Alamodome and will be part of the card starring by Jaime Munguia vs. Gary “Spike” O’Sullivan.
