Monte Carlo or bust for Braekhus!

Undisputed female welterweight champion, Norway’s Cecilia Braekhus, will defend her undefeated record and her titles against Victoria Bustos on Saturday, November 30 in Monte Carlo, on a card that will be broadcast live on DAZN.

Braekhus` (35-0, 9 KOs) last fight was in December, when she Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes by unanimous decision, retaining her championships. The “First Lady” became world champion in 2009 when she captured the titles of the WBA and the WBC versus Vinni Skovgaard. She added the WBO belt to her collection a year later by beating Victoria Cisneros in May 2010. The champion became the four-belt holder when she conquered the IBF belt from Ivana Habazin in September 2014.

For her part Bustos (19-5, 0 KOs), has won four of her last five fights, including a unanimous decision victory over Enis Pacheco. The 30-year-old fighter understands and fully appreciates the golden opportunity presented to her and plans to make the most of it, in trying to make history.
