The mother of all inspirations for “Kika”

Former World Boxing Council champion Yessica “Kika” Chávez showed up at the Tecnológico de Monterrey campus in the State of Mexico, showing just why she’s determined to be the best in the World again.

Yessica, who was holding her baby daughter Alondra in her arms, says she is her biggest motivation: “I was already world champion in two divisions, I was Diamond champion Diamond and I want to have a title in another division. I will also gain my university degree. I’ve never been happy without plans and new goals.

“I will return to the ring on April 27, and we are waiting for the official announcement. Now I have a great motivation because of my daughter. No one is going to stop me in my search of my dreams,” she said after receiving from WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman a replica of the Green and belt for Alondra.
