Zulina Muñoz slates November return

Zulina “Loba” Muñoz, former world super flyweight champion of the World Boxing Council, said she will be back in November, at the venue to be defined, and is already training at the Deportivo Leandro Valle, in Mexico City.

“Loba`s”, in the hunt to recover the championship that was once hers. She took a break in her boxing career due to the birth of her daughter, Zulina Guadalupe, born on March 28 of this year.

“I’ve been training for more than three months, I started in July, and we have plans to return in mid-November,” said the former champion.

“I went up ten kilos, which was a lot for me, I was 62 kilos, it’s not the same when your body has activity and you keep it until you have a baby and your body changes that much. But now I`m strictly back on diet working with a nutritionist. The training sessions have been both tough and rough.”

Zulina wants to return, fighting a quality boxer, to show that she is more than ready to reclaim her place in boxing`s elite.
