Harper crowned WBC International Champion
British fighter Terri Harper won the most important victory of her career, becoming the new Lightweight International champion of the World Boxing Council, at the Barnsley Metrodome in the United Kingdom.
Terri defeated the previously unbeaten Nina Bradley, who from the beginning of the fight was aggressive, but Harper knew how to counteract the combinations and punish her opponent strongly plus frequently.
It seemed that the fight could go the distance, but in the tenth round Harper landed a solid right hand wobbling Bradley, forcing Referee Mark Lyson to step in and stop the fight.
