Battle of Up and Coming Super Bantamweights: Jamie Mitchell and Shurretta Metcalf Make Weight for Thursday Night to Fight in Dallas

Set for a 4 Round Super Bantamweight bout on Undercard Promotions’ Night to Fight 7 show at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas, TX, local favorite Shurretta Metcalf (3-3, 2 KOs) and Las Vegas trained Jamie Mitchell (2-0, 1 KO) will be looking for a little boost in their ranking with this early career matchup.

Metcalf starts 2018 after a split 2017, winning 2 of her 4 bouts – her latest by a quick 36 second stoppage in October.

“The Miracle” Mitchell turned professional in January of last year and cruised through her two opponents leading up to Thursday night.

Since the very beginning, this event has fueled the expansion and met the needs of our ministry, allowing us to continue to reach young people and families in the community.

Our annual “A Night to Fight” raises funds to benefit Ring of Hope Boxing Clubs. Join us for our next great night of sanctioned boxing on Thursday, February 22, 2018. The doors open (for floor sponsors) at 5:30pm and the first fight starts at 7 pm. There will be an exhibition fight at 6:30 pm. We will once again convert the Frontiers of Flight Museum into a boxing venue and enjoy a great night of food, boxing and fundraising.
