Former Great Britain Boxing member Natasha Jonas (4-0) is rapidly working her way up the global rankings, since turning professional in June of last year.

On Sunday, Jonas is scheduled for Matchroom Boxing’s JDNXTGEN series in a 6 Round Super Featherweight bout against 36 match veteran in Polands Karina Kopinska (10-23-3, 3 KOs) at the Victoria Warehouse Hotel in Manchester, UK.

Jonas was slated to face Kopinska back in October but a  late swap to Marianna Gulyas (14-27, 2 KOs) to become the 3rd victim and by stoppage.

In December, the power-punching “Miss GB” Jonas kept her KO streak intact at 4 when she stopped Croatian Katarina Vistica.

Kopinska is no unknown opponent to the British boxer pool, having squared off with Jonas amateur teammate Chantelle Cameron as well as Matchroom’s now WBA Lightweight champion Katie Taylor, both in 2017. The Polish challenger has struggled in the last year, entering the ring 10 times in 2017 with hand raised in victory only 3 times.

Kopinska is a durable opponent, only being stopped twice in 36 trips inside the ropes. Conquers are now IBF Super Featherweight Champion Maiva Hamadouche in 2013 and now WBA Lightweight Champion Taylor in 2017.

Can Jonas keep the KO streak going on Sunday?
