Ema Kozin Named WBF’s Boxer of the Month for July

WBF Boxer Of The Month For July: Ema Kozin

After making her second successful defense of the World Boxing Federation (WBF) Womens World Middleweight title on July 8 in Budapest, Hungary, Ema Kozin from Slovenia is the WBF Boxer of the Month for July 2018.

19-year-old Kozin won the title in October of last year, defeating Kenyan Florence Muthoni, and defended (KO 5) against former IBF world champion Eva Bajic last March in Oklahoma City, USA.

Bajic was also the opponent on July 8, when original opponent Mapule Ngubane failed to get a visa, as the Serbian stepped in on short notice and did well before losing on points.

Kozin took her professional record to 14-0 (8) in the process.
