Bautista retains WBC Silver belt

Guadalupe Bautista retained the World Boxing Council fly silver belt, defeating Karen Rubio by UD during the main event of a card presented on Friday night at the Juan S. Millán Sports Center of the Revolution Park in Culiacan, Sinaloa.

Despite not being favored on any of the cards by the Judges, Karen Rubio made it clear that she has potential and a bright future, by sticking to the task, weathering the barrage of the champion and also landing some good shots of her own. The event was organized by Green Day Boxing Promotions.
