Double world champion Ibeth ‘La Roca’ Zamora and American Melissa McMorrow underwent the 7-day mandatory weigh in, successfully complying with the requirement of the World Boxing Council, specifically designed to help protect boxers from the privations of dehydration.

Thr pride of San Cristobal Huichochitlan, passed that seven days weigh in without problem as did her Californian rival Melissa ‘Mighty’ McMorrow. Their impressive match wll be heading the Great 10th Anniversary Gala of the Ring Telmex – Telcel Program.

Zamora, who is trainng at the Agustin Millan Toluca Gymnasium guided by coach Óscar Duarte, weighed 116.8 pounds. While the fighter from San Francisco also fulfilled the requirement, a few days away from traveling to Mexico, registering 116.4 pounds.
