Mexican Katia Gutierrez defeated Spanish fighter Joana Pastrana, at the Navafría Sports City Pavilion in Moralzarzal, Spain.

For the match between Gutiérrez and Pastrana, the minimum Silver championship of the World Boxing Council was at stake.

Gutierrez got into the rhythm right from the beginning, attacking at short range and constantly targeting the body. In general and concerning generalmanship, the duel was very close.

The telling difference was Katia sending Joans to the canvass once.

The Judges`scores, which reflected this were: 95-93, 92-96 and 92-96.
