In the Main Event of GYM Promotions Saturday show at the Montreal Casino in Montreal, Quebec, local Marie-Eve DiCaire (12-0) breezed through her Argentinian counterpart, Yamila Belen Abellaneda (6-2, 3 KOs) to remain undefeated in her young career.
Dicaire put on a near complete domination of her visiting opponent, Abellaneda, over the full 10 rounds of Super Welterweight action.
Official Scores: 100-90. 99-91, 98-92
In February, Dicaire outpointed former world champion Marisa Nunez to claim the NABF Super Welterweight Championship. GYM is positioning her well for an upcoming world title shot.
