Olympic heroine Tasha Jonas is thrilled to be sharing a bill with two big-name old pals on Friday.

The queen of Liverpool boxing (8-1, 6 KOs) stars at the city’s famous Eventim Olympia – live on ESPN+ in the US in association with Top Rank and on iFL TV worldwide – on an #MTKFightNight that also includes recent world champion Rocky Fielding and four-time world title challenger Martin Murray.

As she prepares to clash with heavy-handed Hungarian Bianka Majlath in front of home fans, the mention of Fielding and Murray brings a smile to her face.

Jonas said: “It’s mad that way back in the day, I went on my first ever international trip with Martin Murray as an amateur!

“I was also at the Rotunda with Rocky starting out and those two are lads I’ve known for such a long time now.

“I respect all Rocky and Martin have achieved in boxing and it’s always great to catch up with them and take some advice from them.

“I didn’t fight in Liverpool much as an amateur because so many of the contests took place abroad but it’s great to be making up for that now in the professional ranks.

“Fighting in front of family and friends is special – who wouldn’t want that?”
