WAHLSTROM POISED TO DEFEND WBC CROWN VS ST. VIL

Melissa St. Vil will challenge World Boxing Council super featherweight champion Eva Wahlstrom at Kulttuuritalo, Helsinki, on April 6th.

For Wahlstrom (21-0-1), this crown defense against St. Vil (10-2-4), a resident of Brooklyn, will be the fourth since she was crowned in 2015 by defeating Argentina’s Natalia Del Valle.

St. Vil, 34, currently holds the Silver title of the WBC in the super featherweight division and is originally from Haiti.
