Friday evening at the familiar Montreal Casino in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, local Light Flyweight favorite Kim Clavel (7-0, 2 KOs) will be back to work in search for win number 8. This time, she faces Argentina’s Tamara Elizabet Demarco (8-1) in a scheduled 8-Round bout.
Clavel has been breezing through the competition thus far in her young career, the last win coming in March in a shutout 8 Round Decision win against 32 fight veteran Soledad Macado of Uruguay.
Including Friday’s competition, “KK” Clavel’s opposition has bolstered a combined record of 44 wins, 26 losses, 2 draws with only one opponent with an negative record (Ana Karen Compean at 0-2). Not too shabby!
Clavel looks to be on fringe of a title fight and Friday’s showing may secure that, with 8 bouts within the her first year and a half of professional ranks.
