KENYA ENRÍQUEZ READY TO DEFEND HER CROWN WITH EXTRA POWER

Kenia Enríquez will make the second defense of the interim WBC light flyweight crown, against Costa Rican Yokasta Valle, this Saturday at the Gustovo Díaz Ordaz Gym in the city of Tecate, Baja California, in a card presented by Zanfer Promoltions.

Enríquez aged 24 (20-1, 9 kos) and Valle who’s 25 (18-1, 6 kos) from San José, Costa Rica star in a fight that looks keenly balanced, and highly competitive.

“I always prepare 100 percent, but in this camp, my physical trainer Raúl Robles developed and implemented a series of exercises that have given me even more explosiveness and power. We have a strong and experienced challenger, so totally ready come what may.”

Yokasta Valle comes from being defeated by Naoko Fujioka in Tokyo, Japan, losing a close decision.

“I feel like I defeated Naoko, but the judges saw something else. However, now this great opportunity to win the WBC interim title against Enríquez and I’m confident that I will defeat her. The Mexican has the ideal style for my boxing skills¨ assured the Costa Rican.
