From MTK Global:

JONAS DETERMINED TO WIN WORLD TITLE THIS YEAR

Former amateur star Natasha Jonas is confident she can bounce back and win a world title in 2019.

Jonas (6-1, KO5) makes her return on March 30 in Liverpool, alongside her MTK stablemate Liam Smith, who takes on Sam Eggington in the main event.

She suffered the first defeat of her professional career in her last contest, but ‘Miss GB’ believes the lessons learned from that fight will work in her favour this year.

Jonas told mtkglobal.com: “It’s been a long time coming. It’s always good to fight in Liverpool in front of my own fans. I’ve had some of my best memories there.

“I needed time out to re-gather my thoughts. The manner of how I lost had never happened to me before so it hurt a lot, but now I’m back and ready.

“My mind and heart is in the right place. I’ve got a lot of demons I need to get over, but the people at MTK have got a plan for me. I fully believe in the plan, and that leads to world titles.

“There’s a lot of people in the gym who have things to come back from. We learn a lot from losses as it makes you reflect, go back, and figure out what went wrong. Hopefully this year we’ll see the results of that.”
