From WBC:

Yokasta Valle will input maximum for Minium!

Costa Rican Yokasta Valle returns to the ring on June 16 in Munich, Germany, to contest the WBC female minimumweight title against Germany’s Christina Rupprecht.

Valle, 25, seeks her 14th career victory, after losing on December 1st, 2017, in 10 rounds, by unanimous decision against Japan’s Naoko Fujioka in Tokyo, Japan.

Mario Vega, who’s the promoter of Yokasta, commented: “We already have the contract and the tickets to travel to Europe. Yokasta is ready, and she has had a great preparation. We are not going to waste this golden and green opportunity.”

Regarding her rival, the promoter indicated that she is a very fast and strong fighter so Valle must muster everything to win convincingly and even look for the knockout, if she wants to conquer the WBC title.

“Yokasta is in very good shape. We had planned very well for this semester, in order to get the triumph. The options and opportunities are here, and we’re convinced she will indeed win the WBC belt.”
