Baltimore, MD’s Mia Ellis started drawing attention by media since the age of 5 years old, caught by The Baltimore Sun in 2006.

Being trained by her father and coach, Kenny Ellis, cited that she basically started shadow boxing before she was 1 since spending so much time with dad as he was coaching.

As a kindergartner, she was sparring 8 and 11 year old boys.

Back then, Coach Ellis detailed out the plan of daily training at 7 years old, compete in amateur bouts at 8, potentially turning professional at 17.

Old Documentary on Mia “Killer Bee” Ellis, the 4 year old prodigy:

At 19, “Killer Bee” Ellis will make her pro debut on Premier Boxing Champion’s Showtime Boxing show at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA on December 28. The show is promoted by TGB Promotions and Mayweather Promotions.

This truly is a special card as “Killer Bee” will be competing along with stablemates Gervontae Davis  (fighting for vacant WBA Lightweight title vs. Yuriokis Gamboa), Malik Hawkins, and Malik Warren who are all trained by the elder Ellis and Coach Calvin Ford.

Ellis will debut at Super Lightweight 4-Round bout against 8-fight veteran Crystal Byers of Ohio.

Preeminent PR, Ellis’ public relations partner, advised us that Ellis will compete and contend with the best in the sport in the Lightweight Division.
