Former WBC Middleweight Champion and demanding challenger to Unified Welterweight Champion Cecilia Brækhus, Kali Reis (15-7-1, 5 KOs), was back to work on Thursday evening at a private event at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC.

“KO Mequinonoag” Reis blistered up Hungary’s Szilvia Szabados (18-12, 9 KOs) from the opening bell, cracking the head while opening up the body for gut-wrenching assaults.

Szabados’ biggest advances were wild and included elbows and shoulders.

A left to the head followed by a left to the body then head again put Szabados on her butt just into the second minute of the 6th Round.

After regaining her footing, Reis went on a vicious attack to end the bout before that final bell. A crushing left hook to the head ended the bout as the referee jumped in to stop the match at 1:30 in the 6th and final round.

Reis’ Facebook Page did stream the bout:

Team Empire Management is demanding Brækhus to stay true to her word on signing a rematch with Reis following their 1.5 Million viewed bout in May. The world heard the statements!
