Juarez and Naranjo ready for anything!

WBC female bantamweight champion Mariana “Barby” Juarez and Spanish international challenger Eva Maria Naranjo were face to face for the last time before going into the ring Saturday night in Fresnillo, Zacatecas.

Mariana, with the confidence of almost two months of training in Mexico Ciy, said she was very happy to be in Zacatecas for this important fight, stating: “They have received me in a very special way. These people know and enjoy boxing, and we come to give everything. It’s my seventh defense and I prepared myself for that, because the fights are won in the gym.”

Eva, who’s WBC International Champion, said: “I have great admiration for the champion but I come to wage war. I do not know if it will be by knockout or what will occur, but I will fight as hard as I can. I am here to take the WBC belt back to Spain, I will see you in the ring. ”

In the official weighing Mariana tipped 117.7 pounds, while Naranjo tipped 117.6 pounds.
